valentine and my personal challenge
I made myself a personal challenge...to do at least one card for every holiday/season. Well, I almost lost the challenge already. I tried several things for a valentine card...didn't like any of them. I am not really sure why Valentine's day is such a challenge for me, but it is. I ended up making the card below. I consider it just okay...but I did it! 
I think I figured out my reluctance to make a valentine card. For some reason, I thought a valentine card had to be pink, and I hate pink. I have no idea why I thought that, but I've spent a lot of time thinking about this and I do believe that is the reason. Time to challenge myself to make something pretty in pink??? LOL

I, too, really hate pink. This is cute, though! And remember, red and white are ok for National Single's Day. LOL
